Archery Target

There is nothing better to practice using your new bow or crossbow then by trying to hit a bulls-eye. You can shoot literally thousands of arrows at this archery target before it needs to be replaced. So stop shooting randomly into the distance, or at trees or the side of your house - spend a few dollars and get something worth shooting at.

80-lb. Eagle Pistol Crossbow Review

Posted by Russ Egan on Mar 10 2008 | Uncategorized

A pistol crossbow is a nice addition for any budding archer, and archery enthusiast.  This crossbow has quite a powerful shot, and can penetrate quite deeply. I recommend extreme caution when using this weapon. There is not much that can go wrong with this crossbow, if you learn how to use it properly.

I suggest you shoot at something soft, such as a bag of sand, rather than something hard, such as a tree. If you want your arrows to survive for a long time, then try not to break them. Contrary to the image you only receive 2 bolts.

Bear Brave Composite Bow Review

Posted by Russ Egan on Feb 23 2008 | Composite Bow Reviews

The Bear Brave Composite Bow is perfect for young, beginners. It is easy enough for children to retract, and only weighs 1 pound and 9 ounces. The draw weight is only about 20 pounds, but even with a small force, it still packs a mighty punch.

It’s design makes this bow look really impressive, especially for the children who it is created for. The sleek black color adds another dimension to this bow, and makes it feel much more powerful and intimidating.

The Bear Brave is an extremely popular model, due to its low cost, and high quality. This is the bow of choice for beginners to archery who want an easy to use bow without a huge price-tag.
